On November 30th, 2012 Salamworld ASEAN Representative Salam Suleymanov participated in the charity event organized by International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) to support Rohingya orphan house community.
On November 30th, 2012 Salamworld ASEAN Representative Salam Suleymanov participated in the charity event organized by International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) to support Rohingya orphan house community. The mission of this event was to demonstrate the solidarity and support for oppressed Muslims of Myanmar.
The event was co-organized by Office of Internationalization, Industry and Community Relation of IIUM and Salamworld where the children of Rohingya orphan house based in Malaysia were invited for charity program. In the framework of this event about 80 children received lunch, entertainment program and various gifts from SW and IIUM.
On behalf of Salamworld global social network, Mr. Suleymanov has presented a PC for the needs and use of the Orphan House. To make this event more memorable IIUM has also presented various gifts and candy bags for children.
As the Rohingya community is quite big in Malaysia and the neighbouring countries in future Salamworld plans to extend its participation in such charity programs to help these people who are suffering from the brutal regime of Myanmar.
